Close Range Light

For a secure ride, it is important to be able to see the road directly in front of the bicycle. Bumps or potholes in the road approaching the front wheel can be seen better if this area is lit. That then gives you the possibility to steer around them, increasing the safety of yourself and your kit. During darkness, this is only possible if the area between one and four metres in front of the bicycle is brightly and evenly lit. Subjectively, the need for light at close range is higher the slower you are riding, because your balance is less stable the lower your speed. “Close range light” means that the light field emitted by our headlights starts directly one metre in front of the bicycle.
